Could everyday vegetated stormwater management become an amenity?
This photo is of run-of-the-mill stormwater management at the Safeway parking lot in downtown Berkeley. While this stormwater facility may function and it doesn’t look at bad as it could, I wondered if the store regards it as an amenity. We were running late when I took this shot, so I didn’t get a chance to ask the manager how he/she regards it. One could only imagine: 1) Trash pit; 2) Sink hole for grocery carts or 3) Something that we had to install.
