Mt. Cuba has posted data gathered from the first year of their trial on their Phlox Evaluation 2015-2017 webpage. The trial includes more than 100 different varieties across a number of species, their most extensive test of native perennials yet. While data includes just one year’s information, what is provided is very detailed including plant habit and form, flower color and size and powdery mildew resistance. Plants being tested include P. amplifolia, P. × arendsii, P. glaberrima, P. maculata, P. paniculata, P. pilosa, P. pulchra and a number of Phlox horticultural selections.
