The calculator is meant to be a tool in deciding the feasibility of projects, if deemed feasible, outputs should be further investigated. Separate pages with spaces to enter project parameters are available for Rainwater Harvesting; Rain Gardens; Native Landscaping; Stormwater Trees; Porous Pavement; Bio-Swales; Green Roofs; Greenways; Wetlands; and Green Alleys, Streets, and Parking Lots. Results are provided for: Energy Use (equiv. kWh/year), CO2 reduction (kg/year), # of Days Car Removed from Roadway, Median Runoff Reduction (%/year), Recharge obtained / year (k-gal), TSS removed (lbs/year), Total Capital Costs, Total Costs/gallon, and Maintenance Costs/per year. Developed in 2013 by National Resources Defense Council, the calculator is maintained on the Fresh Coast 740 Milwaukee website.
