Resilience through Green Infrastructure: Villanova Stormwater Symposium

Villanova conducts an annual meeting to promote sustainable stormwater management. Villanova is at the heart of LID implementation in the MidAtlantic where communities in five states and the District of Columbia are striving to meet EPA water regulations using green infrastructure. The purpose of Villanova University’s Pennsylvania Stormwater Symposium in October is to advance the knowledge and understanding of sustainable stormwater management for professionals including: Engineers, planners, water resource professionals, regional, state and local government representatives, landscape architects, land development professionals, architects, watershed and conservation groups, manufacturers and the academic community.
In addition to keynote presentations both days, the program includes more than 50 concurrent technical presentations on all phases of stormwater management. Consult the registration page for more details.
Tours and lunch are included on the 15th. One will be a walking tour of the Villanova Stormwater Control Measure Research and Demonstration Park. Other options will include a tour of Philadelphia Water Department sites in Philadelphia.
